Elegant Junmai Ginjo from Yamaguchi prefecture. Gentle aromas of muscat grapes, banana and tarragon, as well as a soft and stimulating drinking flow with refreshing acidity and elegant umami make this sake an excellent accompaniment to a big variety of dishes.
GOKYO aims to support the local sake culture and uses for this Junmai Daiginjo the local sake rice Saito no Shizuku from Yamaguchi Prefecture, Yamada Nishiki rice and local water from the Nishiki River.
This sake is characterized by a simultaneously soft taste and a crisp finish with a subtle and elegant scent.

Producer: 五橋 gokyo
The brewery was founded in 1871 in Yamaguchi prefecture, near the Nishiki river. By using the soft water of the Nishiki River, the brewery produces a mild and aromatic sake. All brewers are from the local area and they provide Yamaguchi sake with local roots. The brewery name Gokyo means "five bridges", named after the five interconnecting bridges "Kintaikyo" over the Nishiki river.
