A rare sake made with black koji and aged in French oak barrels. This aging process imparts a sweet and luxurious aroma to the sake. Delicate floral notes, a hint of vanilla and coconut from the barrel, as well as a subtle acidity from the black koji and rich umami, enhance the tasting experience, reminiscent of the elegance of a high-quality white wine. Best enjoyed in a wine glass.

Founded 1875 by a master of sword martial art, with the ambition to brew Sake from the local water. Located at Chikugo river in Fukuoka. The name Ikekame means turtle in the pond. The turtle is a symbol for luck and long life.
