Sake & (Hi)Stories Tasting with Yoshiko Ueno-Müller
22.10.2025 in Mühlerama, Zürich
The Japanese national drink, sake, has a history stretching back around 2,000 years and reflects the landscape, culture, and history of the region. However, this history is made up of individual personal stories of those involved in sake production, such as the owners of centuries-old family businesses, master brewers, and anonymous brewery workers. The author of the award-winning book “SAKE – Mythos. Handwerk. Genuss.” (SAKE – The Art and Craft of Japan's National Drink.), Yoshiko Ueno-Müller, will present five selected sakes and their history for tasting.
This sake tasting will feature different varieties than the event on the following day.
The book "SAKE – Mythos. Craft. Enjoyment." can be purchased during the event at a special price of CHF 55 (instead of CHF 65) and signed by the author on request.
