Hanatomoe Sugi Barrel 300ml

This spontaneously fermented Taru sake is brewed using the Yamahai method and matures in small cedar wood barrels, which give it an intense aroma. The cedar wood comes from the famous Yoshino forests in Nara. The fresh cedar wood notes harmonize with the strong rice flavor to create a deep, expressive profile. It has a mild, smooth cedarwood aroma and a clear taste with delicate acidity. Aromas of wood, mirabelle plum and plum. Dry and slightly astringent. Perfect as an accompaniment to hearty meat dishes.
