Fukuju Kobe Gold 300ml

An elegant and smooth Daiginjo sake brewed with exquisite Yamada Nishiki rice from Hyogo Prefecture and the famous, mineral-rich Miyamizu water from Nada in Kobe. It has fruity aromas of Japanese pear, apple, peach and melon, as well as notes of cream, fennel and herbs. The mouthfeel is mild and creamy. The finish is clear and dry with a slight bitterness. This fine sake can be enjoyed as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to roast meat and spicy fish dishes.

Founded in 1751. Brewed with great care using the best sake rice and source water. The brewery is located in the famous Sake village of Nada, in Kobe. The high quality sake from Nada was already famous during the shogun period (17th - 19th century). The water is rich in minerals and generates a clear and powerful sake profile, which is why the sake from Nada is called “Otoko-sake (men’s sake)”.

Classification of Premium Sake

For high quality sake, rice is polished prior to processing with the goal of eliminating the bran and protein which encase the starch held at the center of the rice grain.
