Japan’s national drink, sake, has a history spanning around 2,000 years and reflects the landscape, culture, and heritage of each region.
Yet, this history is composed of countless personal stories — those of family brewery owners, master brewers, and the many anonymous workers who devote their lives to the craft of sake-making.
Yoshiko Ueno-Müller, author of the six-time award-winning book “SAKE – Mythos. Handwerk. Genuss.”, presents five selected sake and the stories behind them for tasting.
€45 including five sake samples, snacks, and a sake cup (Kikichoko)
