Amabuki Kyoto Matcha Sake

Based on high-quality junmai sake, this emerald-colored beverage combines its umami with the distinctive aroma of original Kyoto matcha. The unmistakeable sweet bitterness of matcha is complemented by the fresh, light acidity of yuzu, yielding exceptional balance. On the palate, a new depth emerges full of matcha character with a long, lingering finish. Due to its complexity, it is ideal for cocktails or as a long drink, for example with verjus, soda, or prosecco.

天吹 Amabuki

Founded 1688. The Name Amabuki means -wind from heaven-. Rice from Saga prefecture and the mild water from Seburi mountain are brewed by a young generation of sake brewers. A special development of the brewery is flower blossom yeast. The brewery grows its own rice without using pesticides.

Classification of Premium Sake

For high quality sake, rice is polished prior to processing with the goal of eliminating the bran and protein which encase the starch held at the center of the rice grain.
