Aderia Craft Sake Glass Mellow
The ADERIA Craft Sake Glass Mellow is designed to enhance the umami, sweetness and richness of sake. Its narrow opening and broad, rounded bowl deliberately influence how the sake reaches the tongue and spreads across the palate.
The shape guides the sake towards the centre of the tongue before allowing it to flow towards the back of the mouth. This encourages the flavour to unfold broadly across the palate, creating a soft, rounded and full-bodied drinking experience.
The Mellow Glass is particularly well suited to Junmai sake, rich and umami-driven styles, as well as aged sake, where structure, depth and flavour are just as important as aroma. Its exceptionally thin rim of approximately 1.2 mm provides a delicate and refined mouthfeel.
Despite its elegant appearance, the glass is strengthened using a special ion-toughening process and is dishwasher safe.
